(CPC30211) Certificate III in Carpentry consists of 12 months of practical course work at a TIV campus (Williamstown, Dandenong or Bendigo) followed by 800 hours of work placement. Once signed off you have then completed your (CPC30211) Certificate III in Carpentry meaning you are a qualified carpenter.

“Finding a traditional apprenticeship can be difficult but 100% of our Certificate III graduates gained employment in the industry.
We offer a Certificate III in Carpentry and a Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying.
Carpentry is 3 days / week
7:30am – 3pm
Bricklaying is 2 days / week
7:30am – 3pm
You get one-on-one training as part of a small group, working on concrete Waffle Pod Slabs, building your own house, including floor framing, wall framing and pitched roofs.
You need to complete 800 hours to increase your skill set.
We give you a controlled environment to learn then help you increase your speed so when you start working you have adequate experience.
On completion you will be a qualified Carpenter or Bricklayer.
You can then start your own business as a subcontractor, or work for a licensed builder or bricklayer and get paid great money.
In the future you can study your Certificate IV to learn how to run your own business.
Once you have 3 – 5 years experience you can then become a registered domestic builder.
0 if you ARE eligible for funding,
,500 if you are NOT eligible.
If you DO NOT have a Certificate III (or higher qualification) and have permanent residency in Australia then you CAN access state government funding.
